Sydney Hauser received her BFA degree from the University of Alabama and graduated from the Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida

She started drawing cats many years ago and is the illustrator of the popular best seller "Proverbial Cat Calendar" published annually by Sellers Productions.

 
Sydney owned and managed a studio and retail shop "The Tabby Cat" on St. Armands Circle in Sarasota.

Her shop cat "Catfish" was the model for several of her illustrations.
